Book Review: Liverpool Angels by Lyn Andrews

I don't like to go into too much detail on my reviews because if your like me you want to discover things for yourself.

I adore this book. I could carry on reading about these characters forever.

This book is set before and during WW1 but for a nice change it is more about the women out there doing their bit rather than the men although there are strong male characters too.

 It is a take of war but also a tale of love and family and how bonds are made and broken. 

I hope you can find the time to give this book a go as I'm sure you'll love it too.

Book Reveiw ! The Secret Place by Tana French (no spoiler)

Going in I had no idea what this book was about, all I knew is that it fitted into the crime genre. 

I still wasn't sure halfway through chapter one but after that I had no doubts..... I love this book. It is utterly gripping.

The author let's you think you've finally figured it out and then totally destroys your theory it keeps you on the edge of your seat all the way to very end.

Give this book a read and I promise you won't be disappointed. 

Also if this gets made into a movie I'd like a part please. I'd like to play Conway but I'd take anything ;)
